Jennifer Appelhanz
Jennifer is a certified birth doula and co- founder of Nestled in Grace with her daughter as a mother- daughter duo.
Jennifer’s passion for serving others began early. As a young woman, she worked as a CNA on the birth unit at her local hospital—where she fell in love with the miracle of new life and the sacredness of supporting families during birth. Life took her in a different direction, and she spent 25 years as a cosmetologist and business owner. But the desire to walk alongside others during their birth journeys never left her.
Now, as a certified doula through EDC with specialties in fertility coaching, childbirth education, birth doula and breastfeeding counseling, She’s returned to the work she was always meant to do—supporting families with calm presence, knowledge, and purpose.
She is a wife and mother of four, and her own birth experiences—especially the powerful (and unexpected) solo birth of her youngest—deepened her appreciation for the strength and intuition within every birthing mother.

Kamryn is a EDC certified birth doula and co-founder of Nestled in Grace with her mom as a mother-daughter duo where they offer support through fertility, pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
Kamryn’s passion for all things pregnancy and birth started at a very young age. As soon as she knew she could become a mom, that is everything she ever wanted.
Now, Kamryn is working as a certified doula through EDC specializing in fertility coaching, childbirth education, birth doula, and breastfeeding counseling.
Kamryn is married to her wonderful husband Josh, and although they do not have any kids of their own (yet), she holds such a passion for fertility, pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. Hopefully soon she will have her own birth experience(s) to share, but for now she is filled with the wisdom and experiences of other moms.
